Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: 08/27/2026 Last Updated: 08/27/2026

Fouràco Collective is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make that happen.

1. Conformance Status

We aim for our Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Our current conformance status is:  Not yet assessed — in progress

2. Measures Taken to Support Accessibility

Fouràco Collective takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Including accessibility as part of our mission and internal design/development practices

  • Providing alternative text for meaningful images and film stills

  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast between text and background

  • Structuring content with proper headings, labels, and semantic HTML for screen reader compatibility

  • Ensuring the Site can be navigated using a keyboard alone

  • Providing captions and/or transcripts for trailers, interviews, and other video content where available

  • Testing the Site periodically with accessibility evaluation tools and/or assistive technology

3. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

The Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)

  • Screen magnification software

  • Speech recognition software

  • Keyboard-only navigation

The Site is designed to work best with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript enabled.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations may include:

  • Video content: Older trailers, behind-the-scenes footage, or archival clips may not yet have captions or audio descriptions.

  • Third-party content: Content embedded from third parties (e.g., ticketing platforms, social media widgets, film festival submission portals) is governed by that provider's own accessibility practices, which we do not control.

  • PDF documents: Some downloadable documents (e.g., press kits, screening schedules) may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader accessibility.

We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed here, please let us know using the contact information below.

5. Feedback and Contact Information

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Fouràco Collective. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need to request content in an alternative format, please contact us:
